model village
Went to the model village for some inspiration...to be honest i had it in mind that it would be a miniature city, so it didn't quite fit my expectations! it was very cute though and the rooftops and tiling was lovely, might inspire me to make christmas cards!

Visual Inspiration
I found this blog today called visual culture blog has lots of visual stimulation from film, photography, fashion, looked like a good thing to refer to. particularly liked this shot of a man guiding a woman with a bandage over one eye through a crowded, cluttered supermarket. Makes me think of how much i love Ikea, Lydl and this amazing nic nac shop in kuala lumpar that made me nearly miss my flight home! just noticed it also has a pidgeon in it, i heart pidgeons!!!!

tainted roids
I normally shoot in colour on my polaroid, but the photographers gallery were only selling these 'chrome' ones last time I went in...i like them, but they make everything seem old and quaint, this colour is very easily over exposed, so hard to take any thing in brighton sunlight i might try using it indoors and see how it come out, out of film now so gotta go get some more to experiment with!

Exhibition Tommorow
I have an exhibition tommorow at the King's Head in Winchmore Hill with some other local artists. I'm just spending today getting ready, polishing the glass in my frames so my prints look shiny and clean!
This image was also used in the 'Be careful what you wish for' exhibition at Space Station 65 18/12/2009–25/04/2010
